Abstract

With the continuous development of space technology, the spatial resolution of the remote sensing images is increasing rapidly. High-resolution remote sensing images has been able to gradually replace aerial photography for mapping of 1:25000 and 1:10000 topographic maps or geographic information updated. Inevitably exist in remote sensing image geometric distortion caused by a variety of external factors and internal factors that need to be removed by the image correction method - that is, by means of a set of ground control points, the geographic coordinates of an image to correct. The image correction method commonly used in in ERDAS professional image processing software platform, by way of human-computer interaction, artificial selection feature points and correct treatment. Traditional correction method with the heavy workload of the choice of site, low efficiency, it is difficult to select a large number of feature points and shortcomings; especially the uneven distribution of ground control points or less than the number of cases, to correct is very difficult; same time, has a variety of scale vector map, widely used as a basic geographic information data, the wide variety of sources, a huge number; contains the correct geocoding feature points, but not in the correct processing utilized. Both manifestations of remote sensing image and vector map is very different, specific content is also a great difference; However, they still have the information intersection. Map as image information features an abstract expression, fully reflects the common ground between the two. How to take full advantage of this common ground, to achieve rapid registration of remote sensing image and vector map, so as to achieve the purpose of geometric correction of remote sensing image, this paper focused on solving the problem. High-resolution remote sensing images submeter resolution has been reached, can provide rich the spectroradiometer, shape, structure, texture, and other information. The vector map contains a large number of feature points, characterized in the line information. Automatically through computer processing technology can quickly from the vector map selected automatically by a large number of uniform distribution of the feature points, the characteristic line, and the corresponding feature point is extracted from the remote sensing image line. Edge feature matching method proposed in this paper, vector maps and remote sensing images were constructed feature template with feature window, automatically establish correspondence between map and image, both corrective and established by the least squares matching relationship. According to the corrective relationship pixel resampling can be corrected with the same vector map geocoding a remote sensing image. High resolution imagery can clear performance feature details, so that we can conduct highly precise matching process; same time, due to these relative to the much more details of the low resolution image, but also increase the probability of mismatching, especially with can not only consider the background information for the edge feature matching between vectors. In this paper, manually specify a few points establish a rough rectify relationship as corrective polynomial initial value method can improve the speed of processing, effectively reduced to match the search range to reduce the calculation of the amount of data, and improve stability. By gradually iterative search in a small area to obtain more accurate corrective
