Abstract

Pentachlorophenol pentachlorophenol, PCP) as a kind of persistent organic pollutants (POPs) has become one of the global environmental pollutants. Important environmental significance in view of the wide distribution of pentachlorophenol in water environment as well as human and environmental persistence, high toxicity hazard study adsorption and degradation behavior of the water environment. This paper choose pentachlorophenol for study, research on the particles of water adsorption and degradation behavior and mechanism between different environmental factors on the adsorption, and pentachlorophenol humic acid. The main research contents are as follows: 1. Study the adsorption behavior of pentachlorophenol in East Lake sediment particles, and pollutants adsorption thermodynamics equations and kinetic equations to describe the adsorption characteristics. The results show that the PCP in Donghu Lake qualitative particles on adsorption fast, available two adsorption kinetics equation to describe the adsorption process. Freundlich isotherm equation can be used to describe the adsorption behavior of the PCP in the East Lake sediment particles. Study environmental factors pH value, salinity, concentration of particulate matter, humic acid, coexistence of pollutants as well as the presence of surfactants under the conditions of pentachlorophenol adsorbed on the Donghu sediment particles. The results showed that the change of the pH value in the 3-10 range, PCP first decreases and then slowly increase the amount of adsorption in the particulate matter. Concentration of particulate matter in the changes between 0.1g · L -1 -2g · L -1 , the effect of particulate matter on the adsorption of PCP concentration. Humic acid and salinity on PCP adsorption on particulate matter first to promote the adsorption increases, then easing. Reduce the amount of PCP adsorption on East Lake sediment particles in the high temperature treatment of the particulate matter. Surfactant SDS and Tween-80, the adsorption of PCP have a role in promoting stronger PCP adsorption of Tween-80 role than the role of SDS. Coexisted organic compounds due to the competitive adsorption of phenol and hexachlorobenzene PCP adsorption on East Lake sediment particles decreases, while the HCB PCP adsorption stronger competition in the particulate matter. 3. Study the fluorescence quenching effect of PCP on the role of humic acid, and then explain the force between the PCP and the humic acid and its mechanism. The results showed that the humic acid may be effective adsorption of pentachlorophenol molecules of humic acid endogenous fluorescence quenching regular, quenching mechanism is static quenching. From the thermodynamic parameters of the judgment, the force between pentachlorophenol and humic acid hydrogen bonds and van der Waals forces. 4. Study the PCP biodegradation on the East Lake sediment particles, and focused on the impact of particulate matter on the biodegradation rate. The results show that the PCP in the the Donghu sediment particles on the biodegradation process can be pseudo-first order reaction to describe. PCP in the particulate matter in the presence of water bodies, and accelerate the biodegradation rate increases with increase in the concentration of particulate matter, the relationship between the degradation rate and the concentration of particulate matter can be approximately represented by a linear equation.
