Abstract

English Literature Children hero appeared in the late eighteenth century. At the time when people are unaware that they have entered the palace belonging to the adult literature. Romantic poets were the most sensitive, they know that the children came and opened the door for them. Images of children in Romantic poetry innocent, pure and lovely, is placed in a stand with an adult relative position. Meanwhile Romantic poets tend to be associated with children and death: a child through death and become a new child - an eternal El Nino. To English nineteenth century there have been many important literary images of children. During the Romantic period, William Wordsworth wrote a large number of child-hero's poetry, these poems in shaping the image of children at the time of the best and most important. To a large Victorian Orphan image appeared in many novels being. They are also some pure cute little guy, but their lives are filled with misery and misfortune. These poor kids are so weak and helpless, they are destined to become a victim of various social evils. In Charles Dickens's novels can be found in many of these children's hero. After two decades of the nineteenth century, the most successful children's image appears in faraway America, they are the Mark Twain in his two children's adventure novels in the shape of two urchin. They pretty simple, but a little too naughty. Sometimes they behave like adults as shrewd, and sometimes will make some silly childish mistakes. They embody exactly what the child's nature, so they are called by some critics a real child. This study focuses on the creation of these three categories on the nineteenth century, early, mid and late typical image of the child, that Wordsworth poem El Nino image, the Orphan image Dickens, Mark Twain novel The urchin image. In their respective age have a very important role and significance of any image of the child for English Literature studies have not skip them. These three types of images of children can help us in English literature of the 19th Century image of the child development process forms a clearer initial understanding can also help us from a new perspective rediscover great works of that era.
