Abstract


United Front is an important weapon for the party , and the University of united front work has been our traditional areas of the Party 's United Front Work and important positions . To do this work in the new period , for promoting the reform and development of colleges and universities for strengthening Party building and improve the party's ability to govern , for the maintenance of social stability , and promote the construction of the development of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the great cause of the reunification of the motherland is an irreplaceable role. Depth study of the theoretical and practical work in this field , not only has a certain theoretical value , but also has important practical significance . The paper first discusses the colleges and universities in the new situation and challenges faced in the New and proposed college united front work under the new situation and new tasks , and then work from non-party intellectuals , democratic parties work , Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao , overseas Chinese and Chinese students so on several fronts discussed . Concluded that to be the new era the United Front Work and allowed to play a role around the center of the school , and the need to strengthen the party leadership of the United Front Work in Colleges and Universities .
