Abstract


Dewey (John Dewey ,1859-1952) is a well-known American philosopher, educator, founder of pragmatism education thinking. Under his inspiration and influence of the Darwinian theory of evolution, the Hegelian doctrine of Pragmatism, on the basis of the elementary Experimental School of the University of Chicago for eight years of educational experiments, through in-depth thinking the great changes of the major turning point of American social life, boldly criticizing the traditional the drawbacks of education, the creation of the philosophy of pragmatism education reflect the changing times. \To go into the depths of Dewey's thought, we must seriously study the books. However, due to various reasons, this study of the classics is not enough depth education ideological pragmatism of Dewey misunderstanding. Horn the (Herman Harrell Horne ,1874-1946) is another American social philosopher Dewey contemporaries, to holding Christian idealism Education philosophical views.
