Abstract


After entering the new millennium, with the rapid development of information technology, the amount of information has been greatly inflated, a variety of large-scale databases around the world to New, and how to effectively use the information in these databases, how efficient each distribution database information integration has become an urgent solve the problem. Researchers in distributed heterogeneous database integration process generally faced with how to implement the integrated query, and how to reduce the information network transmission overhead, improve query efficiency two problems. In order to solve the current distribution, the difficulties encountered in the integration of heterogeneous databases, proposed based metadata repository, query based on the user-mode integration solutions. The program will query the distributed database metadata in accordance with uniform standards integrated into a metabase and establish a mapping between the user mode and metadata, and the overall concept of the user mode to achieve the integration of information query, and propose to materialized view query optimization. The ultimate goal of the program is on research to solve common problems of the integration of data resources, the establishment of a common data sharing and integration platform, a virtual central database for specific topics, metadata set, the underlying data distribution, support in a number of areas of application. The author of the Task Force has established pre metabase developed a metadata import and management tools. Studied in this work on the basis of this paper, the following: 1, how to support experts in the field to create a user mode on the basis of the metadata and its mapping to the metadata, query the user to form a new group-oriented unified query concepts. 2, support for end-user information query select user mode, organizations around the user mode query processing, including integration cleanup map to convert the actual query for each data source, the query results and the final user mode presented to the user. 3, the analysis of the efficiency of the query process proposed materialized view query optimization, specific dynamic materialized view selection method, query matching algorithm materialized views, materialized view maintenance updates. 4, on the basis of the above study, designed and implemented a query organized around the user mode integrated query tool prototype the system (VOscherV1.0), the system uses the materialized view-based query optimization method to process the query. The test biological data downloaded from the Internet, and that the effectiveness of the tools to further test the perfect tool for the human liver proteome bioinformatics integration.
