Through literature review, the scholars at home and abroad mainly in RBD concept, type, function, RBD dynamic mechanism of formation, the spatial layout and structure of the RBD, the relations of CBD and RBD and some general aspects, but they didn't make in-depth research to some type of RBD, nor to expand research into the development mode, operation mechanism, management and coordination of the stakeholders, less research on how to develop and manage to keep lasting competitiveness of RBD. Obviously, RBD research is still in its early in the development of both at home and abroad, the domestic research is in a state of a lag, can not adapt to the needs of the development of urban tourism and urban recreation. This article stands in urban planning and tourism cross position, place spirit theory and organic renewal theory as the main guidance, by on-the-spot investigation, questionnaire survey and in-depth interview method of combining the, the old city historical culture transformation zone type update mechanism and development model of RBD, and clearly put forward, and reshape the place, reconstruction of cultural authenticity and separate to take control and management mode to keep the old city historical culture transformation zone type key RBD lasting competitiveness.
