Abstract


Why has the ancient civilization of the Chinese nation , will be presented in the 16th and 17th centuries lasted a thousand years of advanced significantly backward plummeted ? This is a world of attention problems . Advanced and backward In comparison . The reason advanced in Europe , is of great significance in the world history of science \China in the same period or before and after , did not produce a Europe as modern science , or by gentle inherent pace of traditional scientific development . In other words , the backwardness of modern science and technology in China , the first is that China does not have the birth of the modern science to traditional science . Modern science was born in the ancient Greek rational scientific basis to promote the birth of modern Western science , rational science of ancient Greece from the three aspects of the theory of knowledge , the scientific method and the scientific spirit . In China, the ancient science is practical experience in science , the lack of rationality . From the development of the science itself , which is what our country has no intrinsic reason of the birth of modern science . Our ancient political and economic factors that led to the lack of rational science of ancient China , but also that the country does not produce the modern science of external factors . Internal causes are the basis of the more things change , the external factors are conditions , external factors internal to work . By historical comparison , we see the flaws and shortcomings of the traditional Chinese science . China to come to the forefront of world science in this century , must create favorable conditions for the development of science , as well as changes in the understanding of the concepts and thinking .
