Abstract


Distributed Applications are developed to focus on high performance, scalability and stability, which are a wide research area of computer science and communication technology and has a wide application in future. Both academe and industries are very interested in it.This dissertation first discusses Internet-based web service interoperability and security related topics including Soap/Xml envelope, https protocol and X.509 certificates. WSE is also involved to enhance web service security.The second part focuses on.NET Remoting technology including secure communicate in http/tcp/IPC channel and message.The third part investigates on enterprise services in windows Platform on COM/DCOM/ActiveX components related security topics including authentication, authorization, and impersonation.The last part also discussed on mainly-used debugging and tracing tools like WinDBG, DebugDiag, FileMon, RegMon, NetMon, Ethereal etc.
