Abstract


This paper based on the research and design of S3C4510B embedded router, mainly from the overall design, hardware system design, Linux routing strategy analysis and system application software realization aspects elaborates respectively. The content of the research for the future application of the embedded system and product development lay a solid foundation. This paper first studies the embedded router basic structure and characteristics, and gives the system overall design scheme and the structure of the router hardware platform. Through the IP routing strategy and Linux routing strategy analysis, this paper designed and realized embedded router software system. Among them, the kernel routing table operation of the package, the realization of the protocol conversion and ARP message structure and design process is the key and key. The design of the embedded router supports TCP/IP protocol family most of the agreement, realize the IP packet routing function, can complete TCP/IP protocol and HDLC protocol conversion to each other, make two based on the TCP/IP network realization interconnection. Finally, the system function and performance test.
