Abstract


Infrared wireless communication embedded systems has become a hot topic in the current development and research , many embedded developers using the system interconnect infrared wireless communication due to its unique advantages . ARM as a high-performance , low-cost embedded RISC microprocessor , has become the most widely used embedded processors . Latest embedded ARM core microprocessor generally integrated IrDA interface , IrDA interface of the different versions of the development of the corresponding embedded applications are becoming increasingly important . This paper around Samsung 's latest chip S3C6410 ( discuss ARM1176JZF-S core ) IrDA interface - based applications and simulation , discussed in detail S3C6410 chip infrared wireless communications applications , hardware and software design methods . First introduced by infrared communication scheme for embedded system design completed , start the IrDA protocol stack , the IrDA protocol stack the two major agreement IrLMP and IrLAP given streamline IrDA protocol stack . Choose between two connections as UT-S3C6410 development platform used infrared communication , infrared communication software state machine operation process , and device driver design . Finally, detailed simulation and test how S3C6410 chip IrDA interface , use the the Quartus Ⅱ development environment and VHDL hardware description language , function module test the EP2C8Q208 development platform . S3C6410 chip infrared communication used for video transmission and transplant method of embedded application is given on the ARM11 . According to the test results , the infrared communication scheme basic to reach development standards .
