Abstract


CDN is an established and cover the Internet , a virtual network node server cluster distribution in different regions . CDN caching, replication , load balancing and client request redirection and other technical information resources to the edge of the network , allowing customers quick access to the desired content from the \speed. This paper first introduces CDN composition and the basic working principle , the level of the CDN network architecture , content routing design principles , content routing mechanism compare and node content engine comparison . Then by analyzing the needs and goals of the construction of a city telecommunications companies CDN introduce two solutions are based on the software as well as hardware-based CDN CDN solutions . Software-based CDN solutions , hierarchical , distributed service model, build the core / distribution network architecture . In the core layer construction of the city's unified broadband content services portal , to provide a unified portal entrance , content distribution and management services ; within the metropolitan area , the construction of a number of distribution layer nodes , and to provide concurrent service capabilities . Solutions based on the hardware CDN content distribution network is achieved by the combination of two devices in L4 intelligent switches and Cache content cache . L4 switch complete global load balancing and local load balancing , and service quality assurance and system security guarantee ; edge cache Cache content caching device complete media content , content distribution, and service records . Finally, analysis and comparison of the advantages and disadvantages of the two integrated solutions and put forward a number of recommendations . CDN two technical solutions , I hope to provide some technical reference for the development of broadband .
