Abstract

Can provide a data rate of the current wireless communication system is limited, and in stark contrast to the strong demand for broadband communications. Traditional resources in order to enhance the data transfer rate for wireless communication: spectral bandwidth and transmit power, are on the verge of saturation, and therefore to increase the consumption of these two resources to improve the transfer rate is not going to work. Today, the third generation mobile communication standard has the basic shape, and has entered the large-scale commercial stage. However, due mainly using 3G or traditional wireless communication technology, it can provide data transfer rate is still low, the carrier can not give a more attractive business to attract users, thus 3G in the world of large-scale commercial applications seem difficult. In this case, does not require the loss of a new band and transmit power resources can provide unprecedented data transfer rate of technology into people's vision, it is MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output, MIMO) wireless communication technology configure multiple antennas to transmit and receive signals in the transmitter and the receiver side, theoretical analysis shows that experienced ideal independent fading channels, the capacity of the system will vary depending on the number of sending and receiving end of the antenna to the party with less linearly increase, it can be said that a revolution in wireless communication system. MIMO technology can significantly improve the capacity of the link, but should take what transmission scheme in order to approximate the channel capacity, MIMO system is how to effectively use space resources to improve the data transfer rate is a problem we have to face . Space-time block coding technology will be able to do this. This technique is based on multi-antenna signal transmitting principle, it can be very significantly improved the reliability of the radio link, while improving the performance of the system. This article will be the performance of the research capacity of MIMO systems and space-time block coding, through theoretical analysis and computer simulation to validate MIMO system relative to the traditional single-antenna system, the system capacity upgrade; well as space-time block encoding the encoding and decoding methods, as well as the bit error rate performance. But we know, because of the impact of the spacing between the elements of the multi-antenna array, the direction of arrival and the scattering body, the lead having a certain correlation between the antenna elements, and the system performance of this correlation interested serious impact, it is necessary to find ways to solve such a problem. This article also analyzed the correlation between the antenna elements impact on system performance, and propose ways to improve the system based on the statistical characteristics of the injection principle of beamforming performance. The program uses the second order statistical properties of the channel state information to optimize the transmission power allocation, thereby improving the performance of the system. Computer simulations show that the program to improve the system performance is very obvious.
