Abstract


This paper presents a system exploiting way based on digital technology and virtual display, which can be applied in engineering field. A system was designed to analyzing noise signal utilizing NI software tool in Visual C++ environment. This system supplies a fast, exact and visual way, which can collect and analyze signal. It realizes a lot of functions, such as decibed-meter calibration and dimension conversion, the collection and saved of noise signal, window functions, filters, average times, powerspectrum, cepstrum, third-octave band, and so on.This system was used to collected and analyzed noise signal of turbojet-7, turboprop-6, turbofan jet. It is stressed in this paper that the analysis methods of powerspectrum and third-octave band. According to the analysis on noise signal of above aeroengines, operation status messages of aeroengines were available. Measuring and analyzing the noise of inside and outside of aeroengine test, which provides the foundation of the aeroengine test design, evaluate the noise environment in aeroengine test. It indicates that noise measurement is not only the requirement of reducing engine noise, but also an assistant instrument of engine configuration and failure diagnosis.
