Abstract


In the third generation mobile communication system , different business have different QoS ( such as delay , throughput , and the bit error rate , etc.) require a different transmission rate . This means that the system needs to provide more wireless resources and have a more complex control mechanism for wireless resources . However , the mobile communication system in a radio resource (such as spectrum , power , rate , time slot and a code , etc.) is very scarce, so the radio resource control and optimization issue has become an important research topic in the system . The departure from the optimization of the radio resources in the third generation mobile communication system , focusing on the power control problem in the system . The goal of power control is the ability to quickly adjust the size of the transmission power according to the mobile environment changes , so that not only can guarantee a predetermined communication quality is not generate too much interference to other users . Good or bad power control algorithm has a direct impact on the system performance . Article briefly describes the traditional communication power control techniques : the forward link power control and the reverse link power control ; centralized power control and the distributed power control ; open loop power control , closed loop power control and outer loop power control ; joint power control . Main research and innovation work is given a new distributed power control algorithm using stochastic approximation theory , the convergence of the power control algorithm into seeking a function zero problems . In such a distributed power control algorithm , each user only needs to know the allocated to it by the base station and the matched filter outputs the base station at its designated link gain . Finally, the simulation experiments of this paper, the power control algorithm with respect to the FMA algorithm has stronger robustness and practicality .
