The launched balloons residence time in the air than the aircraft long , its price is lower than the aircraft launched balloons loaded surveillance radar and other electronic equipment can be long-term work in the air . In this paper, a balloon airborne surveillance radar positioning system study , the positioning system works and composition , which involved a variety of positioning depth discussions , designed using the integrated navigation positioning (GPS electronic compass ) the program , and the completion of signal detection , positioning orientation and communication control circuit engineering . A balloon airborne surveillance radar positioning system in the design combines the respective strengths of the GPS technology and inertial navigation technology , GPS positioning technology and inertial navigation technology , in-depth theoretical analysis , engineering research , design, development , testing the validation engineering to achieve the completion of a certain type of radar positioning system principle prototype , to achieve the expected design requirements .
