This paper refers to the Chinese history period before 220AD ,namely,before theclosing of Han dynasty. Gold and silver mines are widespread in the world.They are found easily for theircolour and lustre.So,they were employed by human early in ancient,and have madeprofound influence to our society and history. In Chinese history,this period is the first developing stage of gold and silverimplements mading crafts.Moreover,these crafts had reach a high level in Handynasty. The craft types discussed in this paper are hammering craft,found craft,engravingcraft,pasting goldleaf craft,wrapping goldleaf craft,embedding gold or silvercraft,gold-plating craft,mading gold and silver thread and bead craft. The gold and silver implement types discussed in this paper are waistbandhooks,ornaments,gold vessels and silverwares,gold seals,etc. In this paper,what are influencial factors of the development of gold&silver madingcrafts in the period before 220AD of China was discussed.
