Abstract


In recent years, with increasingly fierce competition,simply rely on users to expand and increase business revenue is no longer appropriate to the current development of the telecommunications industry.The needs of users is gradually transformed to the high end.3G technology is a networking and business solutions which the traditional phone business and new media business. It can reduce capital and operating expenses,increase revenue.3G becomes the inevitable trend of development of the communications industry. Construction of 3G network is very necessary and urgent, for meeting the market demand for communications, providing users with high-quality mobile communications services,and improving the market competitiveness of China Unicom,improving enterprise efficiency,consolidating market share and their own sustainable development and promoting advances in communication technology.By analyzing telecommunications market environment and Shanxi Unicorn’s 2G network status in Jinzhong, the article proposes necessity of construction construction of 3G networks. On this basis of analysizing development strategy about China Unicom WCDMA, the author puts the development of 2G/3G collaborative strategy. According to 2G/3G coordinated development strategy, the number of users to GSM and WCDMA by trend extrapolation etc prediction method is forecasted, and according to the forecast subscribers and unicom core network construction principle, puts forward jinzhong unicom core network construction scheme, then through now nets main nets yuan performance data and test data of construction scheme was verified.
