Abstract

Carbon nanotubes have unique mechanical properties, electrical properties and thermal stability, can be used for preparing the new composite materials. In recent years, carbon nanotube-based composite materials research of new materials has become a hot research. On multi-walled carbon nanotubes mixed acid purification and processing, the carbon nanotube surface with a functional group. Selection of acrylic acid, acrylamide, and water-soluble multi-walled carbon nanotubes synthesized by in situ acid / acrylamide / carbon nanotube hydrogel, the hydrogel of pH, temperature and ion-sensitive properties and electric field in the non-contact electrical stimulation response. Experimental results show that hydrogels have swelling properties, the DI water at room temperature after swelling wet weight of about 200 times xerogel; hydrogel membrane in the entire pH range, there is a certain swelling in acid solution the swelling rate is relatively small, and the swelling ratio in alkaline solution is very large, the hydrogel swelling ratio of alkaline solution in the acidic solution is about 20 times, at pH 6 to 8 with a more sudden swelling ; the solution ionic strength the size of the swelling ratio of the gel also has a very significant impact, the other conditions being equal, the greater the ionic strength, the swelling rate is smaller; swelling ratio of the hydrogel increases with increasing temperature . The gel film prepared in all solutions are able to quickly reach the equilibrium swelling, 15min at room temperature to reach equilibrium swelling. Under the action of the electric force, movable ion inside the gel and directional movement of ions in solution to form an ion concentration gradient poor, leading to osmotic imbalance sides of the gel, the gel pieces bent toward the cathode. The electric field intensity increases, the greater the degree of bending gel, fast response time is shorter. Discussed the CNT and acrylic - acrylamide copolymer composite mechanism. Oxide prepared by heating the water-soluble multi-walled carbon nanotubes using layer assembly technique (LBL) prepared polyelectrolyte / multi-walled carbon nanotube composite thin film preparation process is monitored by the absorption spectra, were observed by SEM images The surface morphology of the composite film. After the composite film to crosslink the material of the sensitive sensor, which were tested at different relative humidities DC Resistance relative humidity from 5% RH to 97% of the process, the composite resistance of the film increases rapidly, which conventional resistance-type humidity sensor is just the opposite. 5% to 85% relative humidity of the composite film section is substantially linear increase in resistance. Its moisture absorption and desorption time was 2s and 30s.
