Abstract

Due to the increasingly rising of oil price and polluting of environment, automobile manufacturers have to excogitate new vehicle. Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV) have the characters of satisfied driving performance, better economical performance and lower exhaust emission, they are the feasible solution to solve the energy crisis and environmental pollution problems. Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) ensure the control and stability performance, it is standard components of modern vehicles. When urgent braking, ABS can make brake system work 60-120 times per second, prevent brake from locking. There are mainly three hybrid driving structures for the HEV at present: Series Schedule、 Parallel Schedule and Series-Parallel Combined Schedule. This paper has introduced and analyzed the structures and features of these HEV. Parallel HEV is the primary study object. The principles and structures of ABS are introduced in this paper, the three main control method of ABS are compared. The fuzzy control method was chosen to build the ABS model. After analyzed simulation software ADVISOR and PSAT, forward-looking and backward-looking simulation method, using the simulation software — PSAT, which based on MATLAB/Simulink, build the models of Parallel HEV and ABS.After analyzed several simulation cycles of PSAT, chose the Manhattan Cycle to put the simulation through. Compared the results of HEV equipped ABS with the results of HEV prototype, such as fuel wastage, SOC, HC\CO\NO_x exhaust and so on. According to the analyzed of simulation, the author concluded that the design and modeling have reached the anticipated object.
