Abstract


Inland shipping is an integral part of an integrated transport system, one of the basic industry of the national economy. However, since the 20th century, 80 years, China's inland shipping in the overall transportation system in the proportion dropped significantly, from 8.6% in 1980, fell to 6.3% in 2002.
