Abstract

As one important part of the engine, the performance of valve train' dissertation">valve train decides the performance of engine, the valves also play a very important role in the ultimate effect of the valve train. The study on the valve is one main question for the study of the engine. In the paper, we have introduced the research achievement of the field domestically and abroad, and then founded the dynamic model while taking the EQ6100 gasoline engine as researched object. After giving all the value of the parameters and solving the problem, we have acquired the valve’s displacement, velocity, acceleration, and its dynamic load curve in one cycle of the engine by further solution. We have executed static analysis, model analysis and dynamic analysis on the exhaust valve in one cycle of the engine, basing on the model we founded and the finite element analysis software of ANSYS. Main contents- of the paper are summarized as following:1) We have simply introduced the working condition of the valve train and the valves, finite element method and ANSYS.2) We have founded the one-mass dynamic model, after giving all the value of the parameters and applying Runge-Kutta method to solve the problem, we have acquired the valve’s displacement, velocity and acceleration in one cycle of the engine, and its dynamic load curve by further solution.3) Based on the model we founded and the finite element analysis software of ANSYS, we have executed static analysis, model analysis and dynamic analysis on the exhaust valve in one cycle of the engine, and acquired the displacement and stress on the valve. Finally, we have drawn some conclusion from the above analysis, pointed out some problems in the process, and given some suggestion for the next research.
