Abstract


China Customs high-definition video conferencing system’s overall goal is to establish a complete set of mature, superior performance, safety and reliability, management, flexible, easy-to-use, standards across the country open 46 units directly under the Customs and Excise Department of the video conferencing system; At the same time, the network can adapt to the Customs and Excise Department long-term development plan, and network architecture, application, management, and performance to meet the needs of all aspects of video conferencing and multimedia applications development. In this paper, that is, the whole system of planning, design and construction process of an in-depth study in the hope that in this system, the experience of other units in the future, especially in the vertical management system to implement the national ministries of the national high-definition video conferencing system with reference significance.After the completion of critical systems in order to achieve more practical function, the National Customs high-definition video conferencing systems designed a series of additional building systems, including 46 directly under the original Customs SDTV docking subsystem session, the use of IP telephone system for backup and scheduling functions, and structures meeting video, live systems. To enhance the reliability of the system, the project carried out in three areas to include:the design of specialized real-time monitoring system to monitor the state of bearer networks; the core equipment design for the Hot Standby structure; equipment to the venue of the equipment room regulate the location ofHigh-definition video conferencing system in China’s development is still in its infancy, the construction of the units also have been carried out to explore at the same time, the previous generation of standard definition video conferencing systems about a decade after the service, have gradually entered a phase-out period, Therefore, high-definition video conferencing systems research is a more urgent task. In the next three to five years after building the first units of accumulated experience, high-definition video conferencing system will enter a period of rapid development.
