Abstract


Mature stock market, pension funds, insurance funds and mutual funds as the main institutional investors dominate tends to decrease the proportion of individual investors. Especially since the late eighties, the rise of institutional investors are leading institutions profound changes in the international securities market investment entities. Since the establishment of China's securities market, due to the institutional environment, there is a major problem of large fluctuations and the allocation of resources and low efficiency. Effective way to solve this problem is to speed up the cultivation of institutional investors in the market, vigorously develop various norms institutional investor base. Based on the capital markets of the developed Western countries and the mutual relations of the institutional investors and the capital markets, the study of institutional investors and the capital market size and market volatility, liquidity relationships, explore the institutional investors in the capital market the role of, and strive to provide a reference for China's capital market is perfect. Therefore, this paper discusses the impact of institutional investors on the capital market liquidity, in addition to a separate analysis of the role of institutional investors in the capital market liquidity improvement, institutional investors also increases market volatility, may appear \On the basis of the above analysis, it is drawn to institutional investors in the occasional case will disrupt the market, but overall, institutional investors on the capital market is more positive conclusion.
