Abstract


In practice, the individual enterprises are different in core competency industrial characteristics and development strategy as well as less qualified in special-purpose fund, expertise and professionals, which make simple cooperation or alliance between corporations fall short of expectation and lead to failure to satisfy the management requirements of reduction of total costs and improvement of operation efficiency. Therefore, it is worthwhile to put focus on the value and function of supply chain integrator as a coordination center of its supply chain.Taking the example of Li Fung Trade, this thesis dissertate the functions of supply chain integrators from four processes of business operation, materials handling, fund flow and information processing. At last, the thesis outlines the current situation of domestic enterprises and points out their inadequacy in function exploration in order to enlighten them on developing their functions to supply chain integrators doing all-round business and providing high-value added service.
