Abstract


With the rapid development of the digital technology, Multimedia and Internet are widely used. Computers, consumer electronics, communications (3C) integration trend is increasingly obvious. At present embedded technology as research hot point, it affects common lives significantly. The embedded devices widely used in all aspects of life, from TV sets, washing machines, mobile communication device to automobiles. Embedded system has entered a new stage. The embedded browser as an important network application in the embedded system is foreseen well by more and more companies, which pay much attention to developing the browser, and therefore the development of an embedded browser with independent intellectual property rights have some practical significance.This paper mainly is the research based on the GPRS wireless mode under the simple browser design, from hardware and software design platform erected two areas, a detailed study on the embedded browser design process. Uses the modular design thought, proposed the network module,cache module, the grammar and the semantic interpretation modules module, the display module, the UI module five basic modules, and have produced each module specific data structure;Has implemented the uClinux port and the GPRS communication.This paper is divided into six chapters. The first chapter introduced embedded system the concept, the composition, the characteristic and the historical development, and the forecast embedded system the application foreground. The second chapter introduced embedded browser the concept, the characteristic, then embedded browser to the current mainstream to carry on the analysis, finally concludes with the topic of an embedded browser research. In third chapter mainly from the development of an embedded browser software and hardware platforms and development processes on three aspects. First introduced microprocessors based on S3C44B0X hardware development platforms and related functional modules, Then introduced the main topics used in the uClinux operating system and the use of a development tool, Finally introduced an embedded software development process. The fourth chapter isthe core part of this paper: an embedded browser design and realization. From the browser involved in the development of related technologies start, first introduced HTML language and HTTP protocol, then introduced an embedded browser’s design for an embedded browser provides a diagram of a development, finally, according to the development of the diagram below for each module data structure. The fifth chapter is the practice of this article: The main discussed an embedded browser wireless realized. Through GPRS network structure, operating principles, data transmission platform and PPP agreement on the basis of understanding and achieving GPRS module PPP dial-up functions. The sixth chapter carries on the entire summary to this article entire, and forecast next step of work.
