Abstract

Since 1913 , Ford's first assembly line , this form of production in most manufacturing areas have been widely used . Has an important impact on the improvement of the status quo of the assembly line balancing production capacity and improve competitiveness . This problem several times to become a hot spot of the academic community , and the emergence of a number of models and algorithms . The degree of automation in many enterprises is not high, mainly rely on manual assembly , production and inventory departments out of touch . In response to this situation , the paper proposes a multi- period synchronization Francis assembly line balancing and inventory simulation model ( each station at any time segment progressive downstream while advancing ) , and expand the traditional single batch of research to multi- batch dynamic studies . Taking into account the actual production of larger model is solved using simulated annealing heuristic algorithm . First, the algorithm through an important position right , the earliest delivery, dynamic programming , respectively, to obtain the initial job assignment program , the initial scheduling program and the initial inventory policy , comprehensive initial assembly line balancing and inventory strategy . Based on the initial strategy , through iterative optimization results . Example optimized amplitude of more than 10% of the cost of running computer (PENTIUM 4 2.4G CPU, 512MB DDR) , less than 10 minutes , and visual effect achieved by programming . Combined with the actual case of a Commercial Vehicle Co. assembly line mixed flow model is simplified to a single serial assembly line model and optimize to achieve better results. Productivity increased by 39% , a 28% reduction in cost . By improving the existing assembly line layout to optimize the application of the same principle , productivity increased by 18% again , costs reduced by 15% again . Examples and case show that : establish the synchronous the Francis assembly line and inventory model via iterative algorithm optimization strategy , the application of this strategy , the cost can be obtained compared with a significant reduction strategy formulation , which can be the actual production planning and parts ordering a reference.
