Abstract


With the growing diversity of the means of communication and market competition continues to intensify , the fixed-line telephone business development and income stagnation and even decline trend is beginning to show . In the new period of construction , and how to use the new technology leverages existing network resources , opening up a variety of value-added services to meet the needs of individual users and multimedia services , in order to better promote the development of the market , the rapid increase in the competitive carriers produce greater economic benefits has become an urgent task and problems in front of the old fixed-line operators , so that the existing PSTN network . This article for the local network of Weifang how to take advantage of existing network resources , network construction , attention to how to provide value-added business up in the existing circuit switched network , the whole network of intelligent solutions . That , on the basis of the existing network , by means of network structure optimization , resource integration , the node equipment upgrade and transformation , the introduction of new technologies and management process optimization to achieve network optimization , business open , intelligent NE goals. Meanwhile, soft switching technology for the fixed network evolution and development of the process of how to smooth the transition to next-generation networks , research and exploration . This paper is divided into four chapters : The first chapter briefly describes the current development of the communication network , discusses softswitch technology as well as next-generation network NGN architecture . The second chapter details Weifang network status of the local network and networking . Chapter two stages from the recent the network intelligent transformation and long-term building a next-generation network Describe Weifang local telephone network evolution strategy . Chapter IV discusses the problems and solutions in the process of evolution .
