Abstract


Chinese stock market has both the general characteristics of the emerging markets , there is a period of economic transition and special institutional arrangements . Since 2001, China's stock market had a severe marginalization crisis , A-share stock market financing and asset allocation fund raising functions almost paralyzed . After numerous painful speculation , investors came to realize : that China 's securities market split share the legacy of the early start-up system design flaws, the problem is to produce other systems the most important reason , do not address the constraints of the core issue of market development The stock market can not operate normally . May 2005 , the share reform launched vigorous and has achieved initial success. China 's securities market development environment , the operating mechanism is very complex and very specific , relevant share reform of basic research is still much room , there were gaps in related fields , which will inevitably cause some confusion in practice , and even affect investors in the equity division reform understanding of and confidence in the necessity , which in turn affect the smooth progress of reform , is not conducive to the timely sum up our profound significance of the share reform on the basis of the direction of the next stage of reform forward-looking grasp. These factors contributed to the formation of this article . This paper uses the theory of economics and empirical data , combined with our special historical institutional context of the causes of the split share structure reform of the significance of the market share reform effects and effects on corporate governance to make a systematic interpretation and analysis, and the corresponding policies and proposals .
