Abstract


In 20th century Chinese literary, Lu Xun and Shen Congwen are two most characteristic, most influential writers, Lu Xun may be called the national spirit of modern China, His critique to the ignorant numb nationality, as well as to the realistic social is profound ,until now nobody follows;But the Shen Congwen -this legend representation of Beijing style writers, realizing from Xiangxi experience, promulgates goodness and beauty of human nature, until now also is beyond control.Their literary style is bright differently, but in the literature deep place, in the thought deep place, they are specially interlinked.We always can feel in theirs writing of pursuit to the ideal human nature and earnestly seeking. to life poem existence .Under the enlightenment words, they respectively has the characteristic, the supplementary union, they have written the true enlightenment spirit, constitute to the historical eternal critique.The full text divides into three chapters, the first chapter outlines Lu Xun and Shen Congwen’s enlightenment principle literature view and its expression in the text. The same theme of village and the metropolis, the enlightenment.mood as well as the different enlightenment stress cause their text to display agreement and dividing line. Between. Expressesing his emotions and the enlightenment rationality ,Lu Xun esthetically favors to stress the latter in him-enlightenment.but Shen Congwen prefer to the esthetic enlightenment of "emotion education", he advocates self-control state of mind,promotes the boundary of spirit through the way of self- enlightenment.The second chapter excavate the core of enlightenment thought which is deep in enlightenment literature view, and seeks the spiritualzero points of dividing lines. Lu Xun and Shen Congwen all regard "fostering people"as the core of enlightenment and the most basic starting point, as a result of the different growth experience, the educational background, the values and the behavior way, they sets up different person’s understanding existence and the way of "fostering people". Lu Xun is"rigid to reality", borrows the western person theory with the spirit of criticism, from two aspects of the "individuaF’and "kind",he emphasizes intrinsic independent of individual, and also obtain external freedom of political aspect, economic aspect and social aspect. He criticizes the national incorrigbility, takes "broken" as "stands" .But Shen Congwen stresses the emotion, esthetic aspect, and the moral aspect, seeks nature of the person, takes the reference by fine human nature, advocates the esthetic freedom.Third chapter talk about Lu Xun and Shen Congwen’s rebelling against enlightenment myth, on the one hand they both object to suppression to person’s spirit which causede by rational myth, on the other hand, they both faces the difficult position of enlightenment, Lu Xun insists on enlightenment spirits with despair and hopeness, but Shen Congwen wanders between reality and ideal. At the same time, the difficult position of enlightenment deepened their understanding of the human nature, which has achieved the hight of metaphysics.
