Abstract


English teaching in secondary schools has long been the general concern of the people , in the context of the new curriculum reform , the success or failure of the reform of English teaching is directly related to the future of our national English language literacy and future development potential of the country . Therefore , in secondary schools to explore new , student development , teacher development and the development of the school -based English teaching mode , we should be summarized from the practice of teaching basic types of contemporary high school English teaching mode , which is characterized by theoretical analysis and value , it is necessary to explore the future development characteristics of middle school English teaching mode , in order to fully grasp the essence of our school English teaching mode . This paper is divided into three parts . The first part briefly describes the classification of the teaching mode and the connotation of English teaching English teaching mode mode . The second part is the focus of this article , summarized the four major types of contemporary high school English teaching mode : the overall teaching mode , mentoring teaching mode , communicative teaching mode and strengthen the practice of teaching mode . And then , through the deconstruction of the elements of the English teaching mode analysis to explore the strengths and weaknesses of China 's contemporary high school English teaching mode . These advantages are: teaching philosophy by the scientific transformation experience aptitudes ; teaching objectives by heavy knowledge to re -round development of transition ; in operating procedures by mechanical aptitude flexibility shift ; relationship between teachers and students from the Teachers' Centre to the teacher-student interaction \teaching conditions from backward to advanced ; teaching evaluation to diversify from a single shift . The lack of our contemporary high school English teaching mode on the theoretical basis of the lack of innovation ; direction of the deviation on the teaching objectives ; exam-oriented teaching value orientation . The third part discusses China 's middle school English teaching mode of development of the appropriate conditions , based on the trends of our middle school English teaching mode prospect .
