Abstract


Explained as a communicative pragmatics theory, Relevance Theory since 1986 by Sperber and Wilson, because of its strong explanatory power has been applied to a variety of areas, it also became a new guidance Pragmatic Translation theory. Domestic and foreign research results show that the associated theory provides a unified theoretical framework for translation, it captures the communicative nature of Translation, explain translation phenomenon. The humorous words translate as a subject in the translation, they would have to get a better interpretation of Relevance Theory. Translation of any type, from the essentially communicative activities. In association within the framework of the theory, the humorous discourse translator is also an express - reasoning communicative activities, including two schematic - the reasoning process involves three text (the original text, the translator Schema text and translation), three communicators (original author, translator and asked readers).
