Abstract

With the deepening of China's reform and opening up, constantly expanding foreign economic exchanges, social demand for foreign language professionals is growing, therefore, how students integrated language skills and foreign language communicative competence became a concern problems. 2001, promulgated by the State Ministry of Education, \Now, use task-based language teaching, English Teaching, as a high school English teaching continuum, should adopt teaching methods it? Emphasized in high school English teaching reform based on the analysis of the characteristics and advantages of the task-based language teaching We propose a hypothesis: the feasibility and necessity of the implementation of the task-based language teaching in higher vocational English Listening Teaching and helping to train the students the ability to use language. Select English Teaching in English Listening Teaching of empirical research. The paper is divided into six chapters discusses. The first chapter of the characteristics of a concept of the task, the constituents of the task, the task type, as well as tasks and task-based language teaching. The second chapter discusses the theoretical basis of the task-based language teaching: language acquisition theory, constructivist theory and curriculum theory. The third chapter discusses the advantages of task-based language teaching, the characteristics of vocational students, English Teaching objectives and requirements, as well as the significance of the task-based language teaching in the English Teaching. Chapter IV discusses the basic principles of language teaching, the task design principles, the implementation of the principle of TBLT implementation procedures and task-based language teaching. Under the guidance of the above principles, the fifth chapter deals with an empirical study: The purpose of the experiment, the participants, testing tools, processes, data analysis and discussion. Specific task design and classroom implementation, we get many useful information. The data analysis results show that the implementation of the task-based language teaching in higher vocational English listening teaching its significance, and be able to develop students' ability to use language. Chapter VI, on the basis of the data analysis in Chapter, we get some of the major findings: feasibility and necessity, as well as task-based language teaching in higher vocational English Listening Teaching affect the teaching effect factors: (1) the degree of difficulty of teaching materials and classroom topics; (2) the examination-oriented education; (3) the amount of the students' vocabulary; (4) the control effect.
