Abstract


Grid following the traditional Internet, the third generation of the Internet after the Web application: grid computing is to build a group of emerging technologies on the Internet, and the dynamic changes to achieve resource sharing, wide-area distributed heterogeneous virtual organizations , coordinated the completion of scientific and engineering problems to solve. Based on a typical application of grid spatial database integration as spatial data resource sharing in grids, solve geographically dispersed geographic information system data source, an effective way to achieve the high degree of sharing of heterogeneous spatial data. Grid spatial database integrated in the grid technology within the framework of distributed, heterogeneous spatial data access and sharing of source. A hot research topic as geographic information systems, spatial database integration grid research progress with grid technology, database technology, integration middleware technology development are closely related. Data integration middleware OGSA-DAI core as a connected user and spatial database, its performance is directly related to the performance of spatial database integration, so this article middleware, and data source interaction mechanism based on in-depth research, middleware improvement program; simultaneously introduced into the grid integration of spatial data sources, improved integration middleware for the media, and design of the integrated system of grid spatial database. The system can connect multiple GIS spatial data source, organic and building them into a virtual space database, to provide users with a unified and transparent spatial database access environment. Combined with the International Organization for Standardization grid geographic information system specifications for the characteristics of grid spatial database, this paper carried out the study of the following four aspects: (1) in-depth research to build grid-based spatial database integration technology, such as grid, GML, spatial database. (2) in-depth research middleware operating mechanism of the OGSA-DAI middleware improvement program optimization middleware design, and expand the functionality of the middleware to access spatial data source; (3) design of a relational data source, XML data the source and the file format of the data source integration modules; help of improved integration middleware OGSA-DAI (GRID-GIS SDI) system is a grid-based spatial data source integration, fusion and integration of spatial data; (4) build heterogeneous spatial data source platform, to build the grid GIS spatial database integration system as a test platform to verify the correctness and reliability of the system.
