Abstract


Comprehensive domestic and international discourse on teacher education , people think that high school English teachers must have the professionalism and language teaching : 1 ) excellent English language basic skills of listening, speaking , reading , writing and translation is superb , strong verbal skills ; 2 ) understand the basic law of the foreign language education theory , Linguistics and Second Language Acquisition , to understand students' foreign language learning psychology ; 3 ) understanding of Chinese and Western culture , and cultural knowledge can penetrate in English teaching ; 4) master modern educational technology , can multimedia assisted teaching methods ; 5 ) active learning , self-development . High school English teachers in the development of professionalism in many ways , including full-time education , short-term training for self-development and professional practice . Look at the life of high school English teachers in China , the current status of work , the real full-time entering teacher training institutions and universities , vocational training , high school English teacher ratio is quite small . In addition , the development of teacher professionalism in a day , its formation is influenced by many factors , which teachers' self-accumulation and take the initiative to improve teaching practice is the key . Teachers need to adhere to the self-study , practice, and constantly reflect on their own teaching practice activities , and research . Thus, this research investigated how high school English teacher in-service , and their professionalism from the main development through self-study , reflection and action research in a normal working life . First on the basis of the literature review , the author discusses the high school English teacher serving through self-study , reflection and action research ways to independently develop their own professionalism . And then as the basis for the preparation of the framework of the semi-structured interview to interview three high school English teacher . Three high school English teacher , there are two particularly outstanding . Interview can be seen , the reason why the excellent outstanding teachers , precisely because of the teachers in the teaching practice , long-term adherence to independently develop their own professionalism , in order to verify the author's point of view . On this basis , I discussed how to motivate high school English teacher insisted latitude from both the external environment and the teachers internal self-study , reflection and action research .
