Abstract


Monetary Policy is the total designation of the policies and measures of money supply and total credit that adopted by central banks to realize the specified economic targets. Monetary policy accompanied by fiscal policy is two important instrument of macroeconomic adjustment, and the efficiency is significant for the economic growth and people’s daily lives, so it is an important task for currency authorities, researchers and practice workers to study the problems and countermeasures in the performing process of monetary policy. China is in the transmission period and economics and society is developed in a very high speed, so financial adjustment is of great significance and the research on the problems in monetary policy performance is important in theory and practice.With the enormous development of financial industry, monetary policy plays a more important role since economic reform of China. As a result of newly establishment of market economy system, the market mechanism is not mature and the macroeconomic adjustment instruments are lack, the effects by international financial market are greater and obsolete concepts and sophisticated issues have ill effects on monetary policy at the same time, the environment of monetary policy transmission and performance is more complex, so the issue of the problems in monetary policy practice and the related countermeasures is of great importance for economic development and the happiness of people in our country. This paper is commenced from the general theories of monetary policy transmission, and the history of monetary policy development is retrospect, then the main problems in monetary policy transmission are analyzed and the proposal are made to improve monetary policy performance. In the research, the theories and practice are connected closely and the international and domestic surroundings are considered, so the feasible proposals and countermeasures are made for the long-term development of economics and society in our country.
