Abstract


In the economic development process of any countries, international competition of industries will shows different position and characteristic, so the process of industrial competition will go through several stages with different character. Generally speaking, now the stage of our industries participating in the international competition has come into the innovation-driven. Whether industries have the power of international competition will mainly depends on its capability of industrial technology innovation. Only innovation can break the economic equilibrium in low level, increase available supply, exploit new markets and induce new demand.This paper starts with the theories of technology innovation, reviews correlative study in home and abroad and analyses its current situation and shortcomings deeply. Then the author puts forward the notion of this study and establishes the foundation for qualitative, quantitative study. On the base of current theories, the author has made an in-depth discussion on the industrial technology innovation. The innovation of this paper is, according to the situation of IT industry, the author establishes a system of industrial technology innovation and uses the Grey System Theory and Principal Component Analysis to make an empirical analysis on IT industry. Then the author points out some problems which existing in the IT industry, so they can supply some academic and practical gist to improve the capability of technology innovation in IT industry.Chapter one is exordium, In this part the author puts forward question and illuminates study background and its significance of this paper. Chapter two is academic analysis. In chapter three, the author makes an analysis on the influencing factors of IT industrial technology innovation ability from endogenous and exogenous angle of view. Chapter four establishes an evaluation index system of industrial technology innovation. Chapter five is the empirical part of this paper. Author collects indispensable data and uses coalescent of qualitative and quantitative analysis and the coalescent of academic and practical study to evaluate the technology innovation capability of IT industry in China. Finally, we get the conclusion of this paper.The result of academic and practical study indicates that nowadays, compared with other ability, the capability of output is the most important factor in impacting the manufacturing of IT industry in China. Then the capability of input and environment is also very significant.But the ability of R&D and manufacture is relative short. At present, although we are increasing the innovation input, its fruit is deficient, and it has tremendous gap comparing with the developed countries. There is difference between the manufacture capability needed by innovation and current manufacturing capability. The manufacture capability needed by innovation means it can makes the innovation come true. However, our IT manufacturing capability is on a sticky wicket, its scientific content and equipment is not enough, so the fruit of scientific research can not enter the markets successfully to achieve its commerce. All these problems should we pay attention to.
