Abstract


Forest is the foundation of eco-balance of the earth as well as the living of human being. Its substantial management requires the adjusting of forestry industry structure, of which an important part is the development of forest recreation. Hotels in forest recreation area are the basis of the development of forest recreation, their gross revenues, profits and hired employers is the leading one in forest recreation industry. The competitive power of hotels relies on the quality of hardware facilities yet much on the software---the level of management and quality of service, which is finally determined by the talents of hotel personnel.Human resources is the basis of hotel management and operation, the core and sour of hotel economic profits winning. To strengthen the management of H.R is very important to the stability of hotel personnel, improvement of hotel profits as well as the assurance of hotel industry’s healthy development, and the hotels in forest recreation areas have their own features on management of H.R due to their developing process, regional status and staff construction, etc.. Hotels in the forest recreation areas of Jiangxi offer a large variety of tourists’ accommodations and facilities, yet also are frustrated with many problems in the aspects of management of H.R. The salvations of the problems would motivate hotel staff, advance the reforms of management systems, raise the level of hotel management and operation and satisfy the forest tourists.The thesis analyses the relationship among forest substantial management, forest recreation and hotels in forest recreation areas, then makes definite the concept of hotel H.R, sums up its developing process, features, theoretic basis and principles, furthermore, by investigating and analyzing the present situation of the management of H.R in forest recreation hotels of Jiangxi, the thesis points out the existing problems of it and in accordance with those, puts forward its tactics.
