Abstract


In this study, the two leading manufacturers of Taiwan 's TFT-LCD industry as the research object , using a typical case study method to explore the generality and specificity of the R \u0026 D behavior of Taiwan's leading TFT-LCD manufacturers , aimed at nurturing for our continent with a strong innovation capability of leading TFT-LCD manufacturers to provide policy reference . This study is based on the basis of the classical theory of reference to past research , the annual reports of the two leading manufacturers of integrated treatment and related data , qualitative and quantitative analysis of the combination ; study found that Taiwan 's leading manufacturers of R \u0026 D behavior by operating income , loss-making enterprises or not a greater impact , and enterprises of the two -party industry expected behavior to a certain extent on the impact of corporate R \u0026 D behavior ; addition , the two vendors are biased in favor of \Finally , we believe that the government should provide a public service , research and development activities for large manufacturers and enterprises engaged in R \u0026 D activities should pay more attention to the effective ratio of R \u0026 D resources . The major innovation and breakthrough of the paper are: ( 1 ) enrich the study of the behavior of corporate R \u0026 D to consider indicators ; (2 ) papers selected with a typical representative of the manufacturers as the object of study ; ( 3) based on reality , a combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis .
