Abstract


Background and Objective Ventricular septal defect (VSD) is the most common type of congenital heart diseases, accounting for about 20%～30% of all congenital heart diseases. And about 80% of VSD is perimembranous ventricular septal defect (PMVSD). Surgical repair of PMVSD is the traditional way on treatment of PMVSD. Surgical technique is more mature, but it needs extracorporeal circulation which traumatize patients evidently and the time of being in the hospital is long. So finding a remedial way of PMVSD which traumatizes patients mildly and is more effective becomes a problem that cardiologists notice. Recently the foreign and homemade devices for PMVSD closure have been designed, so transcatheter closure of PMVSD was developed widely. And there are many reports about it.Due to the proximity of the PMVSD to the conduction system of heart, arrhythmia is the most common complication not only after traditional surgical repair of PMVSD but also after transcatheter closure of PMVSD. And some serious arrhythmias such asⅡ°orⅢ°atrioventricular block (AVB) and complete left bundle branch block (CLBBB) do not only affect patients’life quality but endanger patients’lives. So the changing regularity of arrhythmia and the problem how to reduce the incidence of these arrhythmias are valuable. In this article, the changing regularity of arrhythmia and the risk factors for arrhythmia early after transcatheter closure of PMVSD were discussed, at the same time arrhythmia early after transcatheter closure PMVSD and surgical repair on treatment of PMVSD were compared to evaluate the curative effects and security of transcatheter closure of PMVSD.Methods (1) The cases of all the patients who have accepted
