Abstract


Fiber Reinforced Polymer Fiber Reinforced Polymer (hereinafter FRP) is a new type of structure reinforcing Reinforced materials. Because its superior performance (high intensity, light weight, easy construction, corrosion resistance and construction is convenient, etc), and is widely applied in the structural reinforce areas.Bond and deboning failure of FRP and Concrete is the key of the repair technique of concrete structures with Fiber Reinforced Polymer. The bond properties between fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) and concrete under natural conditions was studied by normal bonding strength experiment of 91 FRP and concrete samples. Bond properties between Multi-FRP and concrete were systematic analyzed and the influence factors of bonding strength analyzed according to the experimental results. The bond mechanism of FRP and concrete has conducted the preliminary description.From a macro-scale view the bonding failure face of FRP and concrete is irregular, but from a macro-scale view the bonding failure face of FRP and concrete is fractal. So the bonding failure face of FRP and concrete can be described by the fractal theory. The projection covering method is used for calculating the bonding destruction of fractal dimension. The relationship between bonding strength and fractal dimension were analyzed on the different strength of concrete conditions. At last the fractal dimension was analyzed on the different kinds of FRP.Tensile strength and shear strength of concrete is correlated, so normal bonding strength and Tension-shear bonding strength is correlated. The relationship of normal bonding strength and Tension-shear bonding strength were understudied by analyzing their data.
