Abstract


As the result of the past and foundation of the future, the industrial structure has become a very important factor of influencing the economic growth. And the industrial structure is corresponds to economic growth, and changing constantly. It shows industrial structure advanced trend mainly, namely industrial structure from low-grade to the senior gradual progress. In order to promote economic growth, it is tending towards the rationalization constantly. Proved by the practice that the economy of developed country increased continually and steadily: in era of knowledge-driven economy, what critical is one country should keep economy strategic frame and result that increase lie in this country’s industrial structure gradual progress. Being a developing country, China facing going through transition and style of economic increase of economic system. The practices of developed country have very great reference meanings.Starting with the traditional economic growth theory, this paper lists both domestic and foreign scholar’s study on the relation between industrial structure change and economic growth, and then analyses and appraise synthetically.In the following chapter, which explores the change trend of industrial structure from three respects: proportion of output value, structure of labor force in industries, and analyses the interactive mechanism of the industrial structure change and economic growth; and then makes a comparative analysis of according to the reality of China. In order to confirm that there are some general connections between the industrial structure change and economic growth, a quantitative analysis on the time array data of the proportion of output value and structure of labor force of the third respect of China have be done in the fourth part of this paper. Through to dealing with the time array data and useing unit root test,cointegration and pairwise Granger causality tests,drawing the conclusion that economic growth is the Granger cause of industrial structure change. Additionally, impulse response function and variance decompositions are also adopted to make a in-depth study.
