Abstract


A historical review of the practical aesthetic theories: in the comprehensive discussion of aesthetic theories during the fifties and sixties, LIZEHOH introduced the concept of practice into aesthetic, thus the practical aesthetic came into being .In the early eighties the practical aesthetic theory developed as the result of the further research of the manuscript of par is, the representatives of which were LIUGANDJF practical and free theory and JIAN GKONGYANG’ practical and creative theory. In the middle of the nineties, more western philosophical theories of twenty’ cen-tury came into china, various schools of post-practical aesthetics rose up, the major ones of which were the aesthetics of living beings, the aesthetic of experience, the aesthetic of rhetoric.A historical evaluation of practical aesthetic theory: ontology, practical philosophy and historical achievements. This paper holds that whereas the practical philosophy which are based on historical materialism and dialectical materialism is advanced and insuperab-le, the practical aesthetic theory inevitably has its limitations such as the lack of indivi-duality and spirituality and so on. Today it should absorb nutrition from the essence of the western humanism and philosophy, since it is anyhow a product of th&4Hseteenth century.A critical view of the post-practical aesthetic theory: the error of ontology. The rede-sign of living, existence and life is actually a retreat of the practical ontology. Further-more some of the post-practical aesthetic theory are the result misunderstanding of the practical aesthetic theory. It mistook the practical aesthetic as the classical aesthetic, thus it does not grasp the basic concepts of the practical aesthetic theory. On the other hand, this paper holds that it is reasonable for the post-practical aesthetic to put empha-sis on the core role of the appreciation of the beautiful, which is the development of the practical aesthetic theory.Look forward to the future of clevelopement of our country’s aesthetic theory, the practical aesthetic theory should mix together and have dialongue with the past-parctical aesthetic theory .The practical aesthetic theory leaded by Marxism’s practical viewpoint, have not absorbed the western human philosophy of twenty century effectively, so it has definite the limit of history. But it is still vitality to the viewpoint of practical philoso-phy. It’s possible to develop the Chinese aesthetic theory that mast be read by the prac-tical viewpoint.
