Abstract


This thesis attempts to analyze and predict the trend of china’s open economy and put forward some basic judgments through studying the impact of open economy on our economic growth, its era environment, and the challenges and problems it had encountered. This thesis mainly uses such research methods as a combination of quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis, combination of theory and practice, making full use of case studies, comparative analysis and data analysis. To be more specific, this thesis is organized from the following six aspects:The first part is an introduction followed by a survey research on domestic and foreign open economy.The second part is an analysis of the impact of China’s open economy on our economic growth. First of all, we analyze the contribution of trade in goods and services on China’s economic growth, saying that the net export of goods and services on the GDP growth rate increased significantly since the implement of the "Eleventh Five-Year plan"; secondly, we analyzed the important role the foreign-invested enterprises located in China played in promoting China’s economic growth, focusing on industrial output, industrial structure optimization, tax increases, the absorption of employment, R & D and technology spillovers, as well as promoting the services sector development; Finally, enterprises listed overseas financing and foreign direct investment are analyzed.In the third part,the impact of China’s foreign trade growth on the world trade pattern is analyzed from the perspective economic globalization. We think the rapid growth of China’s foreign trade played an important role in promoting world economic development and prosperity. At the same time, the reasons for our share changes in absorbing foreign capital, and the changes of overseas investment of Chinese enterprises are analyzed.In the fourth part, we mainly give a comprehensive analysis of the challenges we have encountered when China’s our open economy has entered a new stage, focusing on the changes of means of foreign trade growth, the decline in world demand and adjustment of the world economy after American financial crisis, the export competitiveness of China’s service trade, and the ways of utilizing foreign capital.The fifth part discusses the development trend of our open economy, based on our research and analysis of the current situation and challenges we are faced with, focusing on the goods and export growth of world trade and changes of world trade pattern, foreign capital mergement and the impact of services to attract foreign investment on China’s economy and so on.The last part summarizes the key ideas of the thesis, and some suggestion is made.
