This study compiles the scale of Academic Adaptability for Undergraduates and the Questionnaire of Influencing Factors on Undergraduates’ Academic Adaptability, on the basis of a series of preparations. Then the researcher selects 1209 undergraduates from 8 colleges in Nanjing, including Nanjing Normal University, Nanjing University of Science & Technology and so on, in order to explore and analyze the undergraduates’ academic adaptability in Nanjing colleges. Furthermore, the study discusses it’s influencing factors systematically. Aiming at some undergraduates who are disabled in academic ataptation, the researcher provides constructive consultation.By compositive investigation and data analysis, the study draws following conclusions:(1) The undergraduates’ academic adaptability exists significant differences among colleges, majors and genders;(2) The undergraduates’ academic adaptability ascends with the grade. The freshmen’s is the lowest, while the senior students show the highest academic adaptability;(3)The undergraduates’ academic adaptability is influenced by their own factors, family factors and school & society factors. As considered from their own factors, interpersonal relationship, health, the interest in major, the ability of independence, the value of learning, the will of their major choices etc., affect their academic adaptability; concerning the family factors, the parents’ breeding style can foresee their child’s academic adaptability, referring to the school & society factors, school climate, teacher’s expectation, employment foreground, and Internet influence the undergraduates’ academic adaptability significantly.Finally, the study gives some advices to enhance undergraduates’ academic adaptability.
