Abstract


Today, the green manufacturing has made big progress, but the green jig & fixture, as one of them, drops behind. Because of this situation, I give my paper, in which I set up system info of green jig and fixture, and provide some ways to reduce the pollution and loss of energy made by hydraulic and other big power-driven jig & fixture. The following are the main content.(1) Substituting power-driven for hand driven jig & fixture. The green degree of hand driven jig & fixture is the highest, but it has a deadly weakness, that is can’t provide enough original force. There are two methods to supply this gap, one is by adding multilevel reinforcement mechanism, the other is by impulsion with hand.(2) Substituting hydraulic for pneumatic power jig & fixture. The main weakness of pneumatic power jig & fixture is the lower pressure of pneumatic clamping system, which lead to the clamping force can’t meet demand in some occasion, where we still have to use hydraulic power jig & fixture. This problem can be settled by four ways. First is using multilevel reinforcement mechanism. Second is using the self-locking mechanism to keep clamping work-piece for reducing the loss of energy. The third is using new pneumatic organs or driven method, for example pneumatic muscle or pneumatic impulsion. The last is substituting the hydraulic clamping system for pneumatic-hydraulic composite transmission system, in which the hydraulic oil cycle flows hermetically, that can reduce the possibility of pollution.(3) In some occasions having to use hydraulic clamping system, we provide some ways of reduce pollution and loss of energy. First, in case of the output force and the diameter of hydraulic cylinder keeping constant, we can lower the pressure of hydraulic clamping system by using the multilevel reinforcement mechanism, as the pressure lowering the leak of hydraulic oil reducing. Second, substituting the traditional mass flow hydraulic pump for frequency control low power double acting double stage hydraulic pump, it can economize on energy.(4) Trying best to research on technology of jigs and fixtures which consume little energy we can research on, for example the centrifugal power driven fixture, cutting power clamping device. In this paper, we have designed some centrifugal power driven fixture for machining rotary type work-piece.
