Abstract


Gui Zi has become an object of literature field for his novels, especially his solicitude to the common people who at the social bottom and his spirit of probing deep into tribulation. Because of his long-standing effort his writing level has become mature and gradually took on individuation style.The city Wa was an imaginary place in novels by Gui Zi thinking up. By this imaginary place Gui Zi triumphantly figured a group of countrymen who were in the revolution society and the persons who wandered at the edge of city culture, such as countrymen workers , unemployments, girls who unable to go to school, homicides, wanderers, and abjiective writers. Besides this Gui Zi presented his concern on the people who were getting into hot water and showed his profund thought about modern civilization. His basic point was countrymen and citizens how to face up to the effect of modern civilization. Gui Zi animadverted on that keeping laggard to country was a great block of development. Oppositely he shows much compassion to the persons that boldly try to melt into city, though finally they can but be at the edge of city. In Gui Zi’s opinions such variety problems were owing to allround reasons, on the one hand concerning about distemperedness of society system, which made people rights be unable to get shelter. On the other hand, as well as the missing of spirit homestead. Gui Zi pointed out that spirit homestead was very important for building a healthy and harmonious and stability habitation. Moreover, Gui Zi also pointed at intelligentsia without mercies and animadverted on their weakness and disharmony with social development.As a mature writer Gui Zi has his characteristic inditement and pattern. His writings could be carved up two kinds. In his first kind writings he sedulously pursue to writing technique. In these writings he blended with witch culture and expressed mystification atmosphere. In the second kind writings Gui Zi made a change. He put point at the novels content.
