Kidney sequential intervention role of the clinical study of polycystic ovary syndrome

Abstract


Objective: To observe the efficacy of nourishing-kidney and regulating-menstruation method to patients of Poly cystic ovary syndrome （PCOS） and explore the mechanism.Method: The 52 women with PCOS are randomly divided into three groups: A cycle treatment with Dianji Tang and Zhuhuang Tang（n=18） , B treated with Dianji Tang （n=18）and C treated with Zhuhuang Tang （n=16）. Observe the efficiency of the three groups.Changes of the basal body temperature（BBT） ,ultrasonic ,serum testosterone（T）, progesterone（P） estradiol（E2） luteinizing hormore（LH） follicle-stimulating hormone（FSH） prolactin（PRL） and LH/FSH ratio were recorded before and after treatment. The therapeutic effects in the improvement of clinical manifestation and menstrual cycle of three groups were compared. Synthesize all the changes to assess the effect of the nourishing-kidney and regulating-menstruation method.Result: The nourishing-kidney and regulating-menstruation method can modify the menstruation cycles and symptoms of patients with PCOS. Espesially it can adjust the serum T and LH. It also can adjust LH/FSH ratio . Furthermore this effect is better than the nourishing yin group（ treated with Dianji Tang）and nourishing yang group（treated with Zhuhuang Tang）. The serum E2 is all rised . （P<0.05）Conclusion. The nourishing-kidney and regulating-menstruation method can efficiencyly adjust the endocrine disorder conditions of PCOS. It has a quite good effect to patients with PCOS.
