Abstract

The studies on the synthesis and properties of fullerene derivatives had been an active topic in the fullerene chemistry. So Synthesizing water-soluble fullerene and shaping hybrid materials with nanoparticles, searching reaction rules, studying their physical、chemical and photoelectronic properties are very important for exploring fullerene-based new materials. The thesis is focused on the synthesis and characterization of water-soluble fullerenes and their assemblies with semiconductor nanoparticles.1. The binding of CdS semiconductor nanoparticles and the soluble complex C60 with polyvinylpyrrolidone was investigated by transmission electron microscopy(TEM)、Infrared (IR) spectroscopy、Ultra-violet Visible (UV-Vis) absorption spectroscopy、photoluminescence (PL) techniques. The results showed that CdS band-band emission was extremely quenched by C60 and the photocharge transfer from CdS to C60 was observed.2. Water-soluble malonic acid C60 mono-adduct was synthesized by Bingel reaction. The self-assembly of CdS nanoparticles with C60 derivatives by electrostatic interactions was obtained and characterized by 1HNMR、TEM、IR、Uv-Vis、PL spectroscopy. The results showed that CdS nanoparticles can be linked to C60 derivatives by a means of electrostatic interactions. The band-band exciton emission of CdS nanoparticles in the C60/CdS composites was increased after Eu3+ was added, which is meaningful for the research of electrostatic interactions between organic and inorganic compounds.3. L-Cysteine C60 adduct was synthesized by nucleophilic addition reaction which were characterized by 1HNMR、TEM、IR、UV-Vis、PL spectroscopy. Fluorescence spectra were changed when C60 derivatives reacted with several of ions. L-Cysteine C60 adduct also can form composites with CdS by coordinate bonds. Based on these a method for the determination of ions was developed, which had important values for the applications of fullerenes.
