Abstract

Wool fabric is very popular for its unique wearability, but because it is a protein fiber, but also easy to breed bacteria. In this study, using environmentally friendly chemicals - citric acid and chitosan, by rolling → baking → baking process finishing worsted woolen good antibacterial properties. First, explore the domestic and international anti-bacterial detection method proposed the existence of the problem of domestic antibacterial testing standards. On the basis of a large number of antibacterial testing, analysis method of improved AATCC100, Quinn Law in improved the worsted woolen antibacterial detection process exists, the final selection of the shake flask improved antibacterial testing method as worsted woolen . Modified shake flask method worsted woolen chitosan finish antibacterial testing, analysis of the concentration, molecular weight, degree of deacetylation of the chitosan antibacterial effect. Within the scope of the present research, the inhibitory rate of the chitosan increases with increasing chitosan concentration; increased with the decrease in molecular weight of the chitosan; higher the deacetylation degree, the antibacterial effect of chitosan better. Chitosan molecular weight of 496,000, and a concentration of 0.25%, after finishing worsted woolen the bacteriostatic rate of Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli up to more than 95% inhibition rate after 20 washes in more than 65%, with good resistance to washing. Through single factor test analysis of the citric acid concentration, shell poly Boring concentration, catalyst concentration, baking temperature and time factors finishing effect. Obtained the optimum chitosan antibacterial finishing worsted woolen finishing process optimized by orthogonal test. Finishing solution Recipe: citric acid concentration of 0.8% chitosan concentration of 0.25%, the catalyst concentration of 1%, softener ACN concentration of 1.8%, the the MEJ concentration of more than 0.7% (for the working fluid of each concentration). Finishing process: pre-bake 80 ℃ × 5 min, curing at 120 ° C × 120s. After finishing the worsted woolen improved wrinkle recovery angle, the breaking strength and drapability decreased slightly, reducing the surface roughness of the fabric, improves the feel, after finishing the worsted woolen still maintaining excellent moisture permeability. Use of scanning electron microscopy of the subjects was observed by chitosan finish around the cloth, the fiber surface morphology changed after finishing chitosan finishing agents to fill the gap layer of wool scales. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy tests showed that chitosan as an antibacterial agent in the process of the worsted woolen antibacterial finishing, chitosan, wool with citric acid esterification reaction. By the action of citric acid, chitosan has been fixed, to achieve the purpose of antimicrobial resistance to washing on a wool fabric.
